Windermere Professional Partners Presents Check to Northwest Furniture Bank

Northwest Furniture Bank is an organization located in Tacoma whose mission is to help restore stability, dignity, and hope to families who are without furniture. Through donations of new items from furniture companies and gently used furniture from individuals they help get furniture to people working hard to rebuild their lives after a disaster, victims of domestic abuse, people suffering loss from fire and natural disasters, foster homes and especially families coming from transitional housing who are trying to rebuild their lives.
Windermere Professional Partners is an enthusiastic supporter of Northwest Furniture Bank. In addition to volunteering during this years Windermere Community Service Day, WPP held a fundraiser with their agents and clients and raised $2,000 for Northwest Furniture Bank.
On July 26th Northwest Furniture Bank held a volunteer appreciation night at the Tacoma Raniers game where Kevin Mullin of WPP presented the check for $2,000 to NW Furniture Bank director Bill Lemke. “We are so thrilled to assist Northwest Furniture Bank in their fundraising efforts,” said Kevin. “The role they fill in assisting families in the community with getting back on their feet is essential.”
