You may remember a blog post we did back in May talking about the inventory shortage in North Tacoma. Well folks, things have not changed! Homes for Sale in North Tacoma are Down 35% From Last Year.
What does this mean for a North End Homeowner who is thinking of selling? NOW is the time to put your home on market. Home prices are improving, not as quickly as everyone would like, but we are seeing the market make a turn for the better. Not only are homes in North Tacoma selling, they are selling quickly if they are priced right.
What does this mean for a Buyer? If you see something you like, do not hesitate to make an offer. If you are not quite ready to make an offer, but you want to see what is out there, most likely the homes you see now will be sold by the time you are ready to buy.
As this graph shows in May 2011, there were 448 homes for sale in North Tacoma, In May of this year we saw a 35% drop to 291 homes for sale in North Tacoma.
